Today my anxieties were greatly reduced as I finally found my Japanese textbook from last semester. Hopefully now I will be able to catch up on my Japanese studies and I won’t bomb the placement test. In other news, I closed my Bank of America account and took most of the money out of my Wells Fargo account. Now all of my money is in my new Citibank account, which I’ll be able to access in Tokyo. My brother Patrick turned 24 today, and we celebrated the anniversary of his birth by dining at El Tecolote. I probably won’t be able to eat there again until next July, so the meal was very bitter sweet. Its crazy that there’s only three days left! How did the summer go by so fast? I’ll probably be posting much more often for a while, so more soon. Adios.

Ah… yes. I’ve finally finished remodeling this site and can now focus exclusively on packing and studying.
Since I last wrote, I quit THQ and had my going away party. The fact that I am going to Tokyo in less than a week still doesn’t seem real to me.
Well, I guess that’s it for now. I’m sure I’ll have much more to say very soon. Five days to go!

Awesome! My webpage is finally up! This took awhile due to the fact that my old web host (dot5hosting) was total crap. But that is all over now. Cool.
Hi. I’m Mikey. I made this blog to record my two semester trip studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan. Hopefully I’ll have some way to put up pictures and videos here soon as well. Right now, I’m on my lunch break at THQ, where I’ve been saving up money for my trip all summer. I’ve also been busy reviewing some Japanese and trying to get this page up and running. As you can probably imagine, I am more than a little nervous about the trip. I’ll leave the U.S. on September 7th from LAX, and will land at Narita Airport on September 8th (hopefully).
Thats all for now. I’ve got to go get my Diet Pepsi on. Lates!
